Still, In conclusion, I feel Far Cry 6 is a pretty good game. It doesn't do much new but is still a fun time as it continues the Far Cry formula. The story is really good and is a strong part of the experience. I recommend the game and enjoyed my time with it. If you've played prior Far Cry games and want something new, 6 won't be for you.
Don’t worry people absolutely shitted on Far Cry 5 for years. When far cry 7 comes out, people will be praising how good 6 was, then you’ll be allowed to say something remotely positive without everyone trying to dunk on you for no reason. It’s the cycle of all major gaming franchises now. Everyone hates the newest one until it’s not new.
What's with the hate of far cry 6 here. Yes it's just "another" far cry game. But it's a damn good one at that. Far cry maybe be repetitive but what it does, it does well exceptionally. Is it some groundbreaking Innovative AAA game? No. But it sure hell is mindless fun. As for the game at hand, Far Cry 6 is the most content-packed installment in Ubisoft's long-running series, boasting enough activities to keep gamers occupied for dozens of hours. Its main quest At the end of the day, Far Cry 6 successfully conjures the alluring tropical beauty of FC3's sandbox, FC4's verticality and mountaineering, along with the weirdo weaponry of New Dawn. XGN.nl - Luuc ten Velde - Dutch - 7 / 10. Far Cry 6 is a good addition to the beloved shooter franchise thanks to great gunplay and stunning visuals.
There's little to laugh at with Far Cry 6's story, instead leaving a sour taste as you wonder about reality and the state of the world. And for that, I definitely recommend you play it.
That creates quite the contrast to our claim Far Cry 6 is the best game in the series to date, but we believe the declarations can co-exist. Sounds good. Haven't played a Far Cry since 3
Far Cry 6 is not taking the world by storm on any of its launch platforms. Most reviews in the database are wavering around the 70s which is still a good score.

Recently got a ps5 and came across Far Cry 6. I've never played a far cry game before so confused if this is a good entry point, since I've received mixed reviews about the game. Heard it's a bit repetitive and lacks good story but still considering it as the first entry to the franchise can be exciting.

Far Cry 5. I'm going to use the ammo system as the prime example of bad game design in Far Cry 6. In Far Cry 5, the ammo system was grounded and made sense. You had your basic ammunition and you had your armor piercing. Enemies that wore armor were harder to kill with regular ammo but you could shoot their helmets off and kill them with ease.
Pros/cons of the game would be good. What you liked/disliked, and if you think it would be a cool game to just get introduced to Far Cry. I know some people don't really like it because they didn't really do anything new or add anything, but the game looks pretty cool from a fresh player's perspective. 2. 2.
Far Cry 6 players are expected to work through the game’s introduction until they have completed the “Du or Die” mission. It’s a good move from Ubisoft as this way both players should have
6. Far cry primal (4/10) Far cry primal is a great concept and has a lot of unique ideas, but really falls flat. The world is very beautiful, and has a lot of stunning visuals and good variety when it comes to biomes, but the lack of density (such as not many buildings or structures) the map can get very boring and repetitive. Same as the combat.
Far cry 6 sucked on the gameplay and story fronts. Story wise, the tone was a mess. You got Gincarlo Esposito giving a pretty good and serious performance in the small scenes you see him in; while every other character is super casual and nonchalant about the events unfolding in the world.
