Recently got a ps5 and came across Far Cry 6. I've never played a far cry game before so confused if this is a good entry point, since I've received mixed reviews about the game. Heard it's a bit repetitive and lacks good story but still considering it as the first entry to the franchise can be exciting.
Far Cry 5. I'm going to use the ammo system as the prime example of bad game design in Far Cry 6. In Far Cry 5, the ammo system was grounded and made sense. You had your basic ammunition and you had your armor piercing. Enemies that wore armor were harder to kill with regular ammo but you could shoot their helmets off and kill them with ease.
Pros/cons of the game would be good. What you liked/disliked, and if you think it would be a cool game to just get introduced to Far Cry. I know some people don't really like it because they didn't really do anything new or add anything, but the game looks pretty cool from a fresh player's perspective. 2. 2.
Far Cry 6 players are expected to work through the game’s introduction until they have completed the “Du or Die” mission. It’s a good move from Ubisoft as this way both players should have
6. Far cry primal (4/10) Far cry primal is a great concept and has a lot of unique ideas, but really falls flat. The world is very beautiful, and has a lot of stunning visuals and good variety when it comes to biomes, but the lack of density (such as not many buildings or structures) the map can get very boring and repetitive. Same as the combat.
Far cry 6 sucked on the gameplay and story fronts. Story wise, the tone was a mess. You got Gincarlo Esposito giving a pretty good and serious performance in the small scenes you see him in; while every other character is super casual and nonchalant about the events unfolding in the world.
