FS22 Multiplayer issues. LF - HELP. New to FS, trying to play online with my buddy, but constantly getting the “could not connect to multiplayer game”. We have tried all the basic troubleshooting, we are able to join other open servers but not our own. Anyone got any ideas?

If one of us tries to connect to the other person it works normally for like 40 seconds of connecting, it syncs info, everything. You can even hear Farming music. Then it freezes on 99% and the person that is trying to connect, gets: "You have lost connection to the game". Could you please help us and find out what's the problem? MAVERICK707651.
It would be nice if Giants would actually fix their problem. Have had this difficulty since I started on farming simulator 15. I love the game, but hate the fact that my friends and i can't join each other. If Giants doesn't care about fixing these problems why should anyone continue buying their products? Does multiplayer work on LAN, or do you have to go through FS servers? FS17 MP was rather flaky, my kids connection would drop off despite both being on local LAN (connected through official; server). FS15 did not have any issues. Thanks < >
