On my mk4.5 2.0tdci I had all of the above it felt terrible and hard to change gear (manual 6speed). This seemed to detioriate at year 3 after the factory lube wore off the linkages. Dealer wanted £350 to replace linkages, so I tried experimenting and.. I have tried a variety of oils, sprays and greases over the last few months.
Incredibly, the Ford seller couldn't answer me this question and the owner's manual isn't clear as well: while it says that "When you select position S, a gear change may occur depending on the accelerator pedal position in relation to actual vehicle speed" - thus implying that it can, indeed, be changed while moving - it also clearly says to I can't find a Oz Mondeo group on facebook, so I create a group in here, feel free to join and ask any questions about Mondeo. I have a 2007 Mondeo Titanium X 2.0 TDCI and last week my ABS and TCS lights came on at the Lights. It had an MOT yesterday and the car failed, only on the fault above. I had it hooked up to the diagnostics which showed a fault with Replaced the clutch master cyclinder, not a big job just in behind the clutch pedal, and this cured it.
