The areas that are in danger from rockets are typically the 20 mile radius around Gaza. Haifa, Tel Aviv, Eilat, etc almost never have rocket issues. On the other hand, being in the US as a woman I feel a lot less safe than I did in Israel. Heck just going to school in the US feels not safe due to the sheer amount of school shooters per year.
The land crossing between Jordan and Israel at Arava (Izchak Rabin) border crossing near Eilat /Aqaba opened a few days ago allowing foreign tourists to enter from Jordan into Israel.
